The Week 33 of 2026 CIRCLE CHART saw strong performances from leading acts including Stray Kids, RESCENE, HUNTR/X, and WayV.
KPIA (formerly KMCA), the publisher of
CIRCLE CHART, announced, “As of Week 33 (August 9-15, 2026), Stray Kids and
RESCENE both topped two charts while HUNTR/X reigned atop the Global K-pop
Chart and WayV led the Retail Album Chart.”
Stray Kids topped two charts as their new mini
album THIS & THAT remained at No. 1 on the Retail Album Chart (527,428
retail copies sold) while its lead single "This & That" led the
Download Chart for the second week in a row. Across all album formats (CD+FANS+LP)
in the Retail Album Chart TOP 50, THIS & THAT sold a combined total
of 591,134 copies.
RESCENE topped two charts as "LOVE
ATTACK" climbed to No. 1 on the Digital Chart (with a CIRCLE Score of 16,059,522)
and the Streaming Chart. The group has recently gained renewed attention
through YouTube content, leading their 2024 release "LOVE ATTACK" to
launch a major comeback on the charts to finally reach the top. Their new track
"Pretty Girl" has also reached No. 5 on the Digital Chart.
HUNTR/X, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI, and
KPop Demon Hunters Cast continued their seven-week streak at the top of the Global
K-pop Chart with "Golden". "Golden" is part of the
soundtrack to the Netflix film <KPop Demon Hunters>. Shortly after its
release in June 2025, "Golden" became a global sensation and was
covered by various artists. The track previously reigned for 38 consecutive
weeks at the top of the Global K-pop Chart.
WayV reached No. 1 on the Album Chart as Vision
Wings - The 8th Mini Album sold a total of 163,377 copies. Vision Wings
- The 8th Mini Album is an album that organically conveys a message about
the fundamental force that drives the group. Across all album formats (CD+SMC+Nemo)
in the Album Chart TOP 100, it sold a combined total of 233,306 copies.
The Social Chart 3.0, which provides an
intuitive look at the global popularity of K-pop, was topped by BTS for the
fourth week in a row. The artist who moved up the most during Week 33 was 'KiiiKiii'.

Meanwhile, new entries in the top 200 of
the Global K-pop Chart for Week 33 included the following: ▲KiiiKiii "Pop
Off Pop Off" (No. 17) ▲aespa "Serenade (KARINA & WINTER)" (No.
49).
