The August 2025 CIRCLE CHART saw various charts being topped by leading acts such as HUNTR/X and Stray Kids.
KMCA, publisher of CIRCLE CHART, announced that "In the monthly CIRCLE CHART for August 2025, HUNTR/X swept 7 charts while Stray Kids topped 3 charts."
HUNTR/X, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI, KPop Demon Hunters Cast swept a total of 7 charts including the Global K-pop, Digital (with a CIRCLE Score of 135,237,189), Streaming, BGM, V Coloring, Bell, and Singing Room charts with 'Golden'. 'Golden' is part of the soundtrack to the Netflix film <KPop Demon Hunters> and is trending as a global sensation amid cover versions by various artists. It has demonstrated its staying power by remaining at the top of the Global K-pop Chart for 10 consecutive weeks.
Stray Kids swept a total of 3 charts as 'KARMA' topped the Album Chart (2,954,420 total copies sold) and the Retail Album Chart (855,511 retail copies sold), while the album's title track 'CEREMONY' dominated the Download Chart. 'KARMA' is the 4th studio album from Stray Kids. It features a total of 11 tracks including 'CEREMONY', a track that celebrates the passionate efforts the group has put in up to the present.
Lim Young Woong dominated the Ring Chart with 'Eternal Moment'. This is the title track from Lim's 2nd studio album 'IM HERO 2' and has swept 5 weekly charts by entering at No. 1 across the Download, BGM, V Coloring, Bell, and Ring Charts on the week of its release, week 35.
In the Social Chart 3.0, which helps intuitively gauge the global popularity of K-pop, BLACKPINK was the 1st No. 1 in the monthly chart. Renewed to version 3.0 since week 32 of 2025 by augmenting previous data sources such as Youtube, Mubeat, and Higher with Tencent Music's data, the chart now allows for a broader grasp on the popularity of K-pop artists.
In the week 36 (2025.08.31.-2025.09.06.) CIRCLE CHART of 2025 that was released the same day, 'Golden' by HUNTR/X, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI, KPop Demon Hunters swept a total of 4 charts as 'Golden' secured the No. 1 spot in the Global K-pop, Digital, Streaming, and Singing Room charts. ZEROBASEONE topped both the Album Chart and Retail Album Chart with 'NEVER SAY NEVER' while Lim Young Woong swept a total of 5 charts as 'Eternal Moment' remained at the top of the Download, BGM, V Coloring, Bell, and Ring charts for 2 consecutive weeks.
