In the month of April, JISOO, IVE, and SEVENTEEN were each awarded 2 gold medals in the CIRCLE CHART rankings.
KMCA, the publisher of CIRCLE CHART, announced, "In April of 2023, JISOO ranked first in the Global K-pop Chart with her song, “Flower” and also ranked first in the Social Chart 2.0, winning her a total of 2 gold medals."
JISOO was able to maintain the No. 1 spot on the Global K-pop Chart for two weeks in a row from week 14 to week 15 due to the success of her title song, "Flower" from her first solo album. She also topped the Social Chart 2.0, which is a good indicator of the global popularity of K-pop. JISOO’s My Celebs charm keywords were “flower beauty brag,” “long hair,” and “flaunting my cute charm.” In other news, "Red Velvet" was the group that showed the greatest uptick in the Social Chart 2.0 during April.
IVE topped both the Digital Chart and Streaming Chart with their pre-release song, "Kitsch," from their first full-length album, winning them two gold medals. "Kitsch" topped the Digital Chart with a Circle Score of 129,184,502 and their title song, "I AM," straight off their first full-length album, came in second with a score of 110,853,274.
SEVENTEEN won two gold medals, with their ‘10th mini album, “FML,”’ ranking first on the Retail Album Chart and Album Chart. “FML” topped the Retail Album Chart with total retail album sales of 2,402,673 and 3,360,524 total sales on the Album Chart in April.
Lim Young-woong's song, "London Boy," topped the Download Chart for two months in a row. The self-written, "London Boy," from Lim Young-woong’s double single album has topped the monthly Download Chart a total of 4 times since its release on November 15, 2022.
Throughout week 18 (April 30th, 2023 - May 6th, 2023), FIFTY FIFTY’s “Cupid (Twin Ver.)” continued to receive love and finally ranked No. 1 on the Global K-pop Chart. IVE was able to bring home 4 gold medals with "I AM" ranking first across the Digital Chart, Streaming Chart, Ringtone Chart, and Karaoke Chart. LE SSERAFIM also won 2 gold medals with their first full-length album, "UNFORGIVEN", topping the Retail Album Chart and Album Chart.
